On 24 March 2026, the CBE JU Stakeholder Forum 2026 will take place at The Square venue in Brussels, Belgium, bringing together key actors from across the circular bio-based sector. The forum will focus on the theme “Driving impact – bio-based innovation for a competitive, sustainable Europe.”
The event will provide an important opportunity for the CBE JU stakeholder community to reflect on the progress made in advancing bio-based innovation and to explore how these initiatives contribute to strengthening Europe’s competitiveness, resilience and green transition.
More than 400 representatives from across the bio-based ecosystem are expected to attend, including primary producers, industry leaders, policymakers, researchers and innovators. Participants will exchange knowledge, discuss lessons learned from ongoing initiatives and explore the role of Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) in unlocking the full potential of Europe’s bioeconomy.
Discussions during the forum will focus on key priorities for the sector, including scaling up bio-based innovations, supporting market uptake, improving access to finance, creating green jobs and fostering sustainable economic growth across Europe.
A highlight of the event will be the exhibition of 40 bio-based solutions developed by CBE JU-funded projects, showcasing innovative technologies and applications that demonstrate the growing impact of the European bioeconomy.
The forum will serve as an important platform for networking, knowledge exchange and collaboration, bringing together stakeholders committed to accelerating the transition towards a more sustainable and competitive bio-based economy in Europe.
