The 34th European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE 2026), taking place from 19 May to 22 May 2026, will bring together the international community working on biomass, bioenergy and the circular bioeconomy. Recognised as one of the leading global forums for innovation in the sector, the event is expected to welcome around 1,500 participants from academia, industry and policymaking across more than 60 countries.
The conference will showcase the latest scientific and technological developments in biomass research, offering a dynamic programme that includes workshops, interactive sessions and discussions on the future of sustainable bio-based solutions.
In addition to the scientific programme, the event will feature a range of networking activities designed to strengthen collaboration between researchers, academic institutions and industry stakeholders. Participants will have the opportunity to connect during dedicated networking sessions, including a welcome reception and conference dinner, while the exhibition area will present EU-funded projects and innovative solutions shaping the future of the bioeconomy.
Supported by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) and the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU), the programme will explore key areas of biomass research and their practical applications.
EUBCE 2026 will provide an important platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration and dialogue, bringing together stakeholders committed to accelerating innovation and strengthening Europe’s bio-based economy.
