RUNFASTER4EU has been awarded the grand prize at the 2025 edition of the CBE JU photo and video competition, announced during the CBE JU Stakeholder Forum on 24 March 2026.
The competition highlighted how Europe’s circular bioeconomy is delivering tangible benefits across sectors, inviting participants to showcase bio-based innovation from early development to industrial scale.
RUNFASTER4EU stood out among more than 300 submissions from 50 projects, receiving the highest score from the jury. The winning image, featuring the project’s flagship biorefinery plant in Porto Torres, Italy, was recognised for effectively capturing the transition from innovation to large-scale implementation.
All winning entries were presented at the CBE JU Stakeholder Forum, where stakeholders from across Europe gathered to discuss the future of the bioeconomy and its role in driving sustainable growth.
This recognition highlights the contribution of RUNFASTER4EU to advancing scalable and circular bio-based solutions in Europe.
