Meet the People Behind RUNFASTER4EU: Stefania Pescarolo (WP1 Leader)

Behind every large collaborative project is a strong coordination structure that keeps activities aligned, partners connected, and objectives on track.

At RUNFASTER4EU, the project coordination team led by Versalis (Lead: Stefania Pescarolo) contributes to the coordination of the project by supporting effective collaboration across the consortium and ensuring that activities remain aligned with the project’s overall goals.

“Through sound project management practices, we provide structure and strategic oversight, enabling the consortium to work efficiently and focus on delivering impactful results,”   the team explains.

One of the key achievements so far has been the establishment of a solid governance and management framework, creating the basis for smooth implementation across the consortium.

One of the main challenges in coordinating a project like RUNFASTER4EU is managing collaboration across multiple partners, disciplines, and timelines while ensuring alignment with the objectives defined in the Grant Agreement.

“By fostering a collaborative environment and providing strong organisational support, we help keep all partners aligned and engaged, enabling the consortium to work efficiently and overcome challenges together.”

For the coordination team, the motivation behind this work also lies in the broader ambition of the project.

“RUNFASTER4EU represents a flagship project recognised by the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) for its strategic relevance to European priorities, including sustainable land use, circular bio-based value chains, and industrial innovation.”
